Donegal County Council is inviting the public to call in and have a say on what they think should be included in the Local Area Plan for seven towns in Donegal.
The Council is currently in the process of preparing a Local Area Plan for Ballybofey-Stranorlar, Ballyshannon, Bridgend, Carndonagh, Donegal Town, Dungloe and Killybegs and want to hear the views of the people living in these towns. Drop-in events are being held in each of these towns over the next two weeks.
These events follow on from a preliminary consultation carried out during August/ September last year and members of the public are invited to drop- in at any time between 4pm and 8pm. Staff from the Council will be available to discuss and explain what the Plan is about.

You can also make a submission or observation on the Plan by email to [email protected] or by post to: The Central Planning Unit, Donegal County Council, County House, Lifford to be received not later than 5pm on 29th February 2016.
If you made a submission at the Preliminary Consultation stage in August/ September 2015, it is not necessary to resubmit your comments but if you wish to make further comments then they will be considered in the preparation of the draft Plan.
